The Water & Rails Pond & Garden Railroad Tour is a unique three-day event, organized by MacLean Financial Group and Rail City Garden Center with support from Northern Nevada Business Weekly and Nevada Home Magazine.
This family oriented tour allows visitors to take a self-paced tour through some of the most impressive ponds and garden railroads in Northern Nevada. It was created as a way to showcase the beautiful ponds and immaculate garden railroads in the Reno/Sparks area, while raising money for charity.
Visit over 50 of Northern Nevada’s most spectacular ponds and garden railroads while helping raise money for ALS of Nevada and Artown. Enjoy the serenity and beauty of koi-filled ponds; delight in watching a scale model train travel 1,000 feet of track, under tunnels and through miniature towns. It’s a fun day for all ages. Along the way, pick up tips on how to create your own pond and/or garden railroad. You can walk, bike or drive yourself to any of the featured homes, visiting as few or as many as you like.
Using this online store you may purchase tickets for this event. Tickets are 2 for $25.00 and the proceeds from your purchase go directly to help those suffering with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). (Learn more about ALS)
You have the option of having your tickets mailed to you for an aditional cost of $5.00 or you may pickup your tickets from one of our ticket locations.You will receive a wristband which must be worn at all times on the tour. To get maps and addresses for the tour, simply download them from our web site using a secret code e-mailed to you after receipt of payment.
